After a publishing career in Manhattan, Nancy Mariani moved to the suburbs of Westchester County to raise her family.  She pursued her creative instinct by spending several years as a preschool art specialist.  An avid seamstress and lover of crafts, Nancy decided to try her hand at beading, designing jewelry for family and friends.  As these pieces garnered more and more attention and requests for her work increased, she decided to follow her new passion for designing one-of-a-kind jewelry.  She expanded her line to sell at home parties, art fairs and fundraisers, and subsequently opened “Unique Beaded Jewelry by Nancy.”
